California Oak Woodland
49” x 61”
Designed and made by artist Nicki Voss, the California Oak Woodland quilt wall hanging is based on a photo taken in summer near Paso Robles, California. In this ecoregion of chaparral and woodlands, native oaks, pines and shrubs thrive in an open habitat at lower elevations and in the interior valleys. The colors of this quilt were carefully chosen to reference the greens, tans, and dusty brown shades found in this western landscape. The original art quilt is made with all new cotton materials. The bias tape was hand cut in the Textilepop studio from the same fabric and specifically matched to the color characteristics of this quilt
The art quilt features a twill tape sleeve on the back for hanging and display.
